Inscribed Kuniyuki (pen name Akashi Kuniyuki) (Japan Art Sword Preservation Association) A wide blade, high curvature, and a nakakirisuchi (medium cutting edge) are typical of the mid-Kamakura period, but among Kuniyuki's works, this sword is somewhat slender. The jigane has small itame-tsumi grain, some texture, and the hamon is a broad, straight blade with a mix of cloves, and the blade is very active. As it was handed down by the Akashi Matsudaira family, it is also known as "Akashi Kuniyuki." The tang is raw and pheasant-shaped, and there is a hole at the end of the tang for threading the string, making it a valuable item. This product is a wooden imitation sword.
