THE ORIGINAL CLASSIC GAME: This is the original version developed by Andrew McNeil in 1974. With 2 – 6 players, the only path to victory is to control the final crown. KINGMAKER II: This version is for 2-5 players and was developed by Alan Paul using fan favorite House Rules. Ideal for those who prefer short games with various victory conditions such as Alliance and Prestige. Expanded version: This epic version provides additional rules for crowns and event cards and parliaments and battles. This plate is used to determine whether works of nobility and royalty live or die. Solo Play: The solo game designed by Steve Froud takes you as a single human player, using the Classic Kingmaker and one opponent bot. Number of Players and Average Play Time: Kingmaker is a medieval board game for 1-6 players and is recommended for ages 14 and up. The game takes approximately 60-120 minutes.
