KATO's first OO-9 narrow scale model, created in collaboration with PECO, is a steam locomotive preserved in England, ``Small England Princess/Prince.'' ``Small England Princess/Prince.'' This is a steam locomotive representing the Ffestiniog Railway, a preserved railway with a gauge of 597 mm that operates in the Snowdonia National Park in the United Kingdom. It is a tank-type steam locomotive with a tender and two drive wheels, manufactured by George England Company from 1863 to 1867, and is one of the oldest on the railway. The Princess Prince has been preserved in working condition and is active on the preserved railway pulling passenger cars. OO-9 (Double O-Nine) is a 1/76 scale, 9mm gauge "narrow gauge" railway model. It can run on N gauge Unitrack tracks. You can enjoy driving it on a tabletop while maintaining the cute atmosphere of the actual train and the fine details unique to steam locomotives. It is also compatible with the Unitrack Compact series, so it is also recommended for driving in small space layouts unique to narrow scale.
1/76/9mm gauge OO-9 narrow scale model. Adopting a coreless motor, it provides smooth and stable running that is unique to KATO steam machines. Equipped with traction tires, it can tow 3 passenger cars (PECO products) on flat sections. Accurately reproduces the humorous form unique to saddle tanks and details such as handle rails and piping. Create different front handrails for the princess and her prince. Reproduce the red rods of the main rod, side rod, and first driving wheel. Arnold coupler is standard equipment, and a PECO specification coupler is included for replacement. Minimum passing radius: Single locomotive: R117, Locomotive + passenger car (PECO product): R216. A DCC decoder can be installed by modifying the locomotive part. *The railway model is a system that supplies power from the rails.
