"JENAER GLAS" is a heat-resistant glass brand that Germany is proud of worldwide. Jena Glass (heat-resistant glass) is made from borosilicate glass, a material developed by Otto Schott, and is highly durable against temperature and chemical changes, so you can use it with confidence. The sides of the glass have a double-layered structure, allowing hot items to stay hot and cold items to stay cold. Since heat is not easily transmitted to the sides, you can safely hold the tumbler directly in your hand even if you fill the tumbler with hot drinks. In addition, since the bottom part is similarly double-layered, the contents inside the glass appear to be floating in the air, allowing for a stylish presentation. The "Hot & Cool" series can be used for a variety of purposes, including drinks such as coffee, small dishes such as amuse-bouche and soup, and even sorbets and desserts. 1. Regarding use in the oven This product cannot be used in the oven as it is a combination of borosilicate glass and silicone (the plug that covers the hole at the bottom). High temperatures can cause the silicone stopper to become loose, allowing water to get inside when using a washing machine. Hot & Cool is a product designed as a serving dish, so please do not use it for cooking. 2. Regarding use of microwave ovens Although it can be used for heating in a microwave oven, in the case of multi-type microwave ovens equipped with various functions, it cannot be used for other functions such as grilling. As with ovens, the silicone stopper may loosen at high temperatures and cause the same problem as mentioned in 1 above. 3. Regarding use in the dishwasher Silicone stoppers may melt if heated at temperatures above 55°C for a long period of time. For household dishwashers, set the rinse temperature to 55°C or lower.
