In addition to the weight of the engine, it also generates vibrations, so reinforcing the area around the engine is particularly effective and helps protect the vehicle body. This product is a simple and effective engine room reinforcement that can be installed using only pre-drilled bolt holes in the car body without drilling or other processing. This product has left and right mounting brackets made by bending 3mm thick stainless steel plates. The reinforcing bar is made of stainless steel (SUS304) with a diameter of 27 mm and has a mirror finish, and the strength is ensured by crushing the joints on both sides. Stainless steel is generally 2 to 2.5 times stronger than steel, and the mounting bracket for this product is about 6 times stronger than the iron plate at the engine room mounting part (body side), so it is of course impossible to bend it manually. Ensure strength. ■Driving after installation Above all, I felt that the front suspension was stiff and when I turned the steering wheel, the front of the car reacted directly and traced to the desired place when entering a corner. Not only does it provide stability when driving on rough roads, it protects and reinforces the body, but it is even more effective when driving over 70km on asphalt, and when changing lanes at high speeds, it feels like it cuts in and returns quickly. Just like the body of Jimny, it is possible to increase the strength of the car body by finishing the "bucket" engine room into a "box" shape. ■Installation method - On the driver's side, tighten the mounting bracket to the existing hole in the engine room and fix it. - Tighten the mounting bracket to the washer tank fixing bolt on the passenger side and fix it. - Attach M10 stainless steel bolts to the left and right mounting brackets. (Stainless steel bolts, spring washers, and nuts for installation are included.) ■Note: When fixing the reinforcing bar to the washer tank mounting bracket on the passenger side, due to the structure of the vehicle body, the opening is narrow and the nut should be fixed.
