A five-person display by Kimura Kazuhide, a very popular Hina Doll artist known for his outstanding feminine sense. Pastel-colored dolls are placed on a display stand made of curved lines with a flower motif. The folding screen is boldly decorated with cherry blossom branches, creating an appealing design that makes it look like a cherry blossom viewing party is taking place underneath it. The prince and princess are dressed in matching costumes with different colors and traditional auspicious motifs with cherry blossoms, irises, and other flowers scattered throughout, while the costumes of the three court ladies are made with matching small cherry blossom patterns. The round silhouette is the cuteness that is unique to Kimekomi dolls. The face of Sasame, which was hand-painted by a craftsman with great care, is also gentle and elegant. On the day of the snake (Jōshi no Sekku) at the beginning of March, there was an event called "Nagashibina" where people would transfer their misfortunes and bad luck to human-shaped dolls made of grass, paper, or wood, and let them float down a river or into the sea.
