It is recommended to turn off the filter when the pool is running. A smooth concrete slab is recommended as a suitable base - contact a reputable local builder for advice on local soil conditions. Failure to install the pool on flat, compact ground may result in the pool collapsing or washing away anyone lounging in the pool.
