You can refresh your tatami room by simply placing an overlay. Please use it as a cover to refresh tanned tatami mats and prevent staining new tatami mats. Compared to regular overlays, it requires less dry wiping before use, and can be used with a light dry wiping. Because the surface of the rush is treated with resin, it is easy to handle and can be used neatly. The product becomes stiff and shiny, making it firm and easy to unfold or fold. It has the effect of preventing stains, dirt, and dyed soil from adhering. We use domestic (Kyushu) rush with a length of 105-110cm. Of these, approximately 88cm is used. The edges of the edges will be whitish to some extent. (It's not tanning, it's the color of the base and tip of the rush.) The longer the rush, the higher quality it is. Rushes have reddish-brown tips, white roots, and blue (green) in the middle. The more high-quality blue part in the middle is used, the stronger and more beautiful the finish will be. Rushes also get tanned as they are used, but the more of the blue part in the middle is used, the more beautifully and evenly the whole rush will be tanned and the more flavor it will bring out. We use domestic (Kyushu) rush. Each Japanese rush is thick, has a thick epidermis, and has fine fibers, making it elastic and durable. Rush has the ability to purify the air, regulate humidity, and is resistant to stains. Aomori Hiba processing is applied to the rush. (Deodorizing effect) Can be used on both sides.
