Chess House presents a dedicated chess set in rosewood with 4 drawers in the front. The chess set includes 2 additional queens, 4 additional derby knights and 2 additional pawns. The chess set includes 4 drawers on the front of the board that can be pulled out. All the drawers have magnetic locks that hold the drawers securely and do not fall out when swinging around. All the pieces have special inserts that fit according to the shape of the chess pieces. The inserts are made of EP special foam to protect the pieces. The Galaxy Staunton chess pieces are hand carved in a combination of rosewood/boxwood with a beveled base. All the chess pieces are triple weighted. The height of the king is 3 inches (76 mm) and the weight of the chess piece is 1.675 lbs. There are enough 2 queens in the combination of rosewood/boxwood provided with the chess set. These along with the individual spaces to store the other chess pieces in the tray box. There are enough 4 derby style knights provided with the chess set for free. All these additional knights are in the design and the model of the regular knights. These along with the individual spaces to store the other chess pieces in the tray box. In the current version, you have the option to play with any combination of knights, either regular or extra. There are enough pawns for 2 chess sets. These are provided along with individual space to store other chess pieces in the tray box. The chess board has inlaid algebraic notation. However, the algebraic notation is inlaid in white maple. Please do not use screen paint or color, these numbers and alphabets are carved from natural maple wood and inlaid. If you love chess, you'll love this chess set.
