This speed controller is loaded with high-tech features to enhance your experience with Hobbywing brushless power systems. Please take the time to read the following instructions carefully before using the speed control. Internal electronic key switch for long life and high reliability; external switch port for connecting external switch (not included in the package box) can be applied to different situations. A separate PRG/FAN port can power an external fan to maximize cooling performance or connect an LCD program box or OTA programmer to the ESC. Variable frequency adjustment of PWM & Brake Frequency allows users to precisely adjust the driving and braking power (of the motor). Softening function (HOBBYWING-Start) allows for gentler or wilder driving control and better driving efficiency. Multiple protections: low voltage cut-off protection, ESC and motor thermal protection, fail-safe (throttle signal loss protection), reverse polarity protection (external standard cap pack will be damaged even if battery reversal occurs). Data logging to record max ESC/motor temperature, motor speed/RPM, etc. in real time. Firmware upgrade via Hobbywing multi-function LCD program box or OTA programmer (items sold separately). * Even if battery reversal occurs, the external standard cap pack will be damaged. For complete protection, we recommend using a HOBBYWING SMT-MLCC capacitor bank (sold separately).
