Hnefatafl – 2 player strategy game

Hnefatafl (pronounced "nef-ah-tah-fel") is a two-player strategy game in which the objective is to get King to Refuge (one of the four corners) or to have the attacker capture the King before it is safe. You can strategically move pieces horizontally or vertically (but never diagonally) to force your opponent to turn sides. The wooden game board and exquisite pieces are perfect for play or display. Hnefatafl is a strategy game that stimulates critical thinking for ages 8 and up.
