This work is based on the "M9 Gernsback (Kurtz's machine)" from the "ROBOT Spirits " series, which is sold as an action figure series by Bandai Collectors Division, and is a reproduction of the Indian Ocean Squadron machine that appears in episodes 15 to 17 of the TV anime "Full Metal Panic!", "Winds Dancing on Hometown, Part 1, 2, and 3". Not only has the coloring been changed, but the options, including weapons, are also different from the commercial version.
