Players choose a hero by combining two character options: role and race. This combination drives their strengths, weaknesses and defines their special abilities. Earn power-ups and move around the map by completing quests and fighting multiple types of opponents. Move carefully to avoid dangers, travel from city to city, visiting shrines and ruins along the way. You will quickly gain power, and the Dead King will also move. He will destroy cities while your hero desperately gathers the power needed to stop him. For each city he destroys, the Dead King gains more power. The objective of the game is to power up your hero as quickly as possible and eventually defeat the Dead King himself. Confront him and defeat him to win and bring light back to the valley.
