Helle knife Eggen 12C27

A true all-round knife that can be used in a wide range of applications, the Egen, a Helle Knife staff favorite and used by many users around the world, now has a new blade. The design and hold are the same as the conventional Egen (laminated stainless steel), but the blade uses a single layer of Sandvik steel. The difference between the new Egen 12C27 and the previous Egen is the hardness of the blade. 12C27 is a fully hardened blade that is not laminated, so there is no bending of the blade and it feels different when using it. It is also possible to start a fire with a fire starter by sharpening the back of the blade at a right angle.
