In March 1997, at the memorable first tournament of the JB World Pro Series held at Ikuno Ginzan, HMKL's Izumi won the championship by making full use of minnow drag. The method of fishing with a minnow on a 4-5 meter line, which no one had thought of until then, had a huge impact on the professional tournament scene in Japan. The K-IV makes it easier to achieve the fishing method of passing the minnow deeper. It can easily reach depths of more than 4 meters, which was impossible with previous minnows, and reaches a maximum depth of 5.5 meters when using a 10lb line. The secret of this model lies in its specially designed wide and thin lip and unique weight balance. The shape of this lip reliably grabs water while allowing it to dive quickly like a submarine, allowing you to hit the deep end without any stress. Also, by concentrating the weight balance, the lateral movement that tends to be lost the deeper you dive, is not lost at all, and in fact, it produces much stronger wobbling than a typical deep crankbait.
