GMB tie rod ends have moderate friction torque and rotational motion, allowing smooth vehicle operation. It also responds appropriately to irregular changes in the road surface, supporting stable driving performance and ride comfort. To achieve this, GMB uses a resin sheet with excellent friction resistance (POM: ACETAL) and special synthetic grease between the balls of the ball joint to suppress friction as much as possible. We are working to extend the life of the tie rod end by using grease that prevents muddy water from penetrating inside the dustproof cover. Thai GMB conducts static tests, destructive tests, and durability tests necessary during development to maintain product reliability. We carry out thorough quality control through appropriate heat treatment and thorough acceptance inspection of special steel, as well as self-inspections and patrol inspections in each manufacturing process.
