Illiterati is a cooperative survival word game. You and your fellow librarians must work together to save the world from illiteracy by spelling words and spelling books while surviving the onslaught of the Illiterati. Illiterati is played simultaneously in real time with all players working together. Each round consists of three phases: 1 Word-Building Phase: Draw letters and spell words. 2 Book-Binding Phases: Burn unused letters and return completed books. 3 Illiterati Attack Phase: Attract villains and resolve their effects. To win, each player must first bind their own book. Then all players must coordinate their efforts by working together on one epic book called the Final Chapter. If there are too many letters or the Illiterati Villain Deck is empty, all players lose.
