The G2 Dirt Tamer throttle tube incorporates a non-linear ratio of hand throttle rotation and carburetor or throttle body opening. The pulley, or cam as it is called, pulls the throttle cable and the rider turns the grip/tube. By changing the conventional circular cam, we have achieved a significant improvement in control. For most models, Throttle Tamer includes a 400-style cam profile, but some camera profiles have alternatives. The G2 Dirt Tamer throttle tube features a cam with a reduced initial radius and must be rotated slightly further to achieve the same carburetor or throttle body opening position as the stock throttle. This slightly longer puller makes a big difference in control as power winds in and the rider searches for traction. The radius increases or increases after 1/2 throttle to maintain the overall rotation required to reach the stock rotation or nearby throttle. G2 cams are replaceable. Don't get stuck with ratios that aren't correct for your skills or track conditions. Most models are available with a camera (sold separately) that allows you to change stock, fast, or multiple different progressive control ratios. Machined from USA 6061 aluminum. Self-lubricating Delrin bushings on each end of the tube eliminate aluminum-to-aluminum contact and provide an ultra-smooth feel that won't rust like bearing throttles. The included cam is removable and can be replaced with the G2 cam (sold separately) for fine adjustment. Fits the stock cable inside the stock throttle housing. The end cap is removable, making it easy to install the enduro handguard. Grip not included. Installs in minutes. Fits the following models: Husqvarna 85 (18-20 years).
