Virtually eliminates the snatchy "on-off" throttle characteristics of modern EFI-equipped motorcycles. Progressively shaped control cam improves rider control in low throttle positions. The G2 Street Throttle Tamer Tube creates a non-linear ratio between throttle rotation and throttle body opening. A pulley (cam) pulls the throttle cable as the rider rotates the grips. By changing the traditional circular cam, control is greatly improved and throttle snatch is dramatically reduced. The Throttle Tamer Tube has approximately 1/2 throttle from "off". This requires a slight rotation to reach the same throttle position as the stock throttle. This virtually eliminates the "throttle snatch" common on fuel-injected street bikes. The radius increases or increases after 1/2 throttle to maintain the overall rotation needed to reach the stock rotation or nearby throttle. His other G2ergo cameras are also available if you'd like a change. Machined from USA 6061 aluminum. Self-lubricating Delrin bushings on each end of the tube eliminate aluminum-to-aluminum contact and provide an extremely smooth feel. The included cam is removable and can be replaced with an alternative G2 cam (sold separately) for fine adjustment. Fits the stock cable inside the stock throttle housing.
