The throttle cam system allows the ratio between the rotation of the hand throttle to be non-linear and the opening of the carburetor or throttle body. The pulleys are: Instead of ``or'', the grip rotates and the rider pulls out the ``cam'' throttle cable/tube. Traditionally, recirculating cams offer vast improvements in control. The throttle cam system has an optional cam system that reduces the radius of the first 1/2 throttle rotation, which is required to be a little further away from the carburetor or throttle body as the throttle is positioned. It has a slightly longer pull, so it makes a big difference in the rider's control overlapping the power on.The system is "100cam" – the same as the stock, and "200cam" – 10% smaller than the stock.
