You will find that your 93 to 02 Firebird/Trans Am needs headlight gear repair. Signs clearly reveal: noisy operation, occasional failure of up/down operation, finally failure of operation, only running motor or lock-up motor can be used. If there is a problem with the headlights, other times have not increased. This is the main nylon gear. It is not designed for repetitive operations like other systems.
