6.7L Powerstroke Fuel Filter Compatible with: 2017-2022 F-250 Super Duty Powerstroke 6.7L V8. 2017-2020 F-350 Super Duty Power Stroke 6.7L V8. 2017-2020 F-450 Super Duty Power Stroke 6.7L V8. 2017-2020 F-550 Super Duty Power Stroke 6.7L V8. 1. Frame Rail Filter Replacement: Place a drain pan under the water in the fuel separator filter housing under the carb between the frame rails to drain the fuel. Remove the five fuel filter housing mounting bolts using an 8mm socket and replace the filter element and housing gasket. Reinstall the filter housing and plug the water into the fuel sensor connector. 2. Engine Filter Replacement: This fuel filter is located on the driver's side of the engine bay and contains three fuel lines. Remove all three fuel lines leading to the filter by sliding the plastic clips and pulling the lines away from the filter one at a time. Loosen the filter from the housing by turning it 1/4 turn. Install and tighten the new fuel filter. Turn the key to the on position and leave it at 30. seconds. Turn the key. With the key in the off position, repeat the back on three times.
