Elite Engineering Solid Billet Clean Side Separators (CSS) are designed specifically for GM truck and Camaro V6 engines. Compatible with all catch cans. Direct fit replacement for stock oil fill cap. Premium assembly includes all necessary parts for easy installation. Fully serviceable. Designed, machined, and assembled in the USA. Catch can installation is completed by switching clean or fresh incident air through the unit, which replaces the oil fill cap. The internal coalescing media traps and traps oil that is part of the crankcase vapors when there is a momentary "backflow" of flow in a single outlet system or an OEM PCV system. High quality, aluminum unit maintains a sealed system and 100% MAF meter air and complies with emissions standards. Much better than any breathing use.
Elite Engineering Clean-Side Oil Separators are specifically designed to complement oil catch cans. Approximately 90-95% of the oil intake from the intake air charge enters through the "dirty" or "foul" side of the PCV system, while the remaining 5-10% enters the factory "clean" or "fresh" side of the intake air. It enters the tube via backflow. This primarily occurs under acceleration or wide open throttle when the intake manifold vacuum drops to zero and crankcase pressure builds. Our Clean-Side oil separator captures and removes these oil vapors while retaining 100% MAF of measured air. As a result, it improves vehicle performance and fuel efficiency. Maintain a closed system that complies with emissions regulations by replacing your stock oil fill cap with our separator. This billet aluminum replacement part is safe to use at all temperatures and contains a stainless steel coalescing medium in the separation chamber that captures and retains most oil vapors for periods of low intake manifold vacuuming.
