Get more "snap" in old-school playing and more depth in bluegrass. A modern head material inspired by antique amber translucent calfskin that is unaffected by moisture. It's a little brighter than the original Elite, has a warmer sound than the standard plastic head, and offers new tonal possibilities. High crown (1/2") head, 12" diameter. High crown heads are ideal for banjos with flat head tone rings (or flat top banjos).
