EBC Brakes started selling brake shoes in 1984 and now has the world's largest catalog of brake shoes. EBC brake shoes are made using either a high pressure die-cast aluminum platform or a steel platform. Common on modern ATV drum brakes, they have bonded brake linings. All shoes feature radius ground and edge trim with lead-in and lead-out chamfers on the edges of the lining and original equipment style brake shoe springs. EBC manufactured two types of brake shoes. Both always feature an asbestos-free lining for health safety and environmental reasons. Standard lining is a direct OEM replacement. EBC WG series water groove brake shoes are ideal for off-road use where the grooves keep out dirt, dust, water and debris.
