DD Underblanket is the best hammock insulation for cold nights. Just hang it under your hammock and feel the warmth in minutes. (*Suitable for use at temperatures below -5, but we recommend using it in conjunction with other cold weather gear.) When camping in a hammock, sleeping bags and down coats are weighed down by your own weight. Because it is compressed, most of the heat escapes downwards. The DD Hammock Under Blanket is worn under the hammock, so it is not compressed, and creates a layer of air warmed by your body heat between the hammock and the blanket, providing warm insulation. (*Please wear it a little loosely to achieve warm insulation.) The total length is 2m, so it provides almost full length insulation for most people. (*We recommend setting it slightly above your head.) Made of ripstop nylon blanket with waterproof coating and 200 grams of synthetic silk.
