< br> Das Werck "1/72 World War I German Army U-Boat SM U9" plastic model. U9 is a German U-boat used during World War I. In July 1914, she became the first ship to successfully reload her torpedo tubes while submerged. While on patrol in the southern North Sea in September of the same year, she sank three of the old British armored cruisers, HMS Abouquia, Hogue, and Cressy, and in October, she sank the British protected cruiser HMS Hawk. She was withdrawn from the front line in April 1916 for training purposes and dismantled in 1919. It can be assembled by selecting the open/closed state of the torpedo launch port and the unfolded/retracted state of the engine snorkel and chimney.Decals included.
