Simply fill the balloons with helium and enjoy! Inflate the balloons the same day as the event. Latex balloons will float indoors for an average of 12-24 hours. Foil balloons can last several days if properly filled and stored. Balloons used outdoors will have much less float time depending on the elements. Foil balloons require a low pressure regulated foil inflator to inflate them. These regulators have an auto shut off pressure valve to prevent over inflating. Disposable helium tanks with latex inflators will not properly inflate foils. Balloons can usually be properly filled at your local party supply store or florist. Even larger grocery chains supply helium. For large quantities or large quantities of balloons, it may be more cost effective to rent a helium tank from a party rental company or local welding business.
