Each side comes with its own deck of cards. The system forces many tough choices through many aspects of play, including cards to keep in hand. Multiple rounds, individual carrier groups, military-level land units, one year per turn per counter. Highly solitaire-compatible.

Pacific Tide: America vs Japan, 1941-45 is a compact and strategic game covering WWII (including some Commonwealth forces) and the struggle with Japan. The game utilizes a unique, fast-paced card-driven combat/build system that orbits the operation of carriers and gives players many decisions to make.
