Combrick "1/700 German Navy Battleship Braunschweig 1904 with photo-etched parts" resin kit. In 1904, she was commissioned in Kiel as the name ship of the Braunschweig class battleships. During World War I, the Braunschweig class belonged to the 4th Fleet and engaged in coastal defense. By 1917 she was removed from first-line service as an obsolete battleship and became a training ship. After the war, under the Treaty of Versailles, all older Braunschweig-class ships were allowed to be owned.
