Lynn Thompson, head of Cold Steel, was watching major league games when he saw how many wooden bats would break and thought it was dangerous, so he wondered if there was a way to make a bat that wouldn't break and came up with this bat. Made from injection molded heaviest grade polypropylene, it is truly durable.
