Cold case crackers can play the role of a detective team. Let's take a look at the unsolved cases. This is a Bloomgala case - this hypothetical case is the Tom Biggins murder case. He was killed in August of 2008 and with the lack of physical evidence, the case went cold. Your job is to sift through the evidence and determine who the killer is. Let's move forward with the investigation. This case is solved by completing the investigation objectives given to you on the phase cards. Each phase and task is different, but all are important in solving the case. The game requires live-action detective work and includes twists and turns that never come. You can use dozens of documents and photos along the way. Evidence includes maps, social media posts, newspaper articles, suspect profiles, photographs, witness statements, interview transcripts, and more. You never know what evidence you will need or when you will need it. Your research team must be sharp-witted and observant. Online codes and audio clues will guide you. We integrate technology into the game, so you will need a mobile phone or computer to play. This takes live-action detective work to the next level. Enter codes throughout the game to validate your decisions and complete investigations. The audio tip line will assist your team whenever the next turn of investigation misses you. Made for one detective or an entire team of detectives. Perfect for date night, game night with friends, or family activities. It is also for those who want to take on tasks alone and claim glory for themselves. Question: Do I have what I need to open the case?
BLOOM GALA CASE On Friday, August 15, 2008, investment banker and lobbyist Tom Biggins attended the announcement of a new exhibition. At Bloom Gallery of 20th Century Art in Dogwood Heights, Georgia. Before the revelry had end Tom's dead body turned up in the back stairwell stumbled upon by one of the servers. Police identified five main potential suspects: Giuseppe Serpente (pet dealer) Simi Everlynn (art Curator) Bella Petro (the oil baron) Ollie Hogwash (the distiller) Riley Sian (the salesman) In the following days an independent medical examiner swiftly ruled Tom's death an accident, and authorities thereafter abandoned the case. Given the lack of publicly available information, theories swarmed around Tom's death. A year later, in June of 2009, an anonymous blog post exploded the story back into the public eye. I recast the gala dinner as a cover to put it in. Provided the insights from this new piece of evidence and under intense media pressure, police have re-opened the case as a murder investigation.
