Adjustment is required at a string instrument specialty workshop to fit your cello. When the strings are not strung, the adjuster tab will come out of the tailpiece groove if you move it slightly. Please be careful not to drop the tab when handling. There may be some splinters and unevenness in the processing on the back of the tailpiece, but this is a manufacturing specification.
