Catalinbread RAH Overdrive Do you know Led Zeppelin's legendary live performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 1970? Catalinbread RAH is an overdrive pedal that delivers the hall-filling guitar sound of Jimmy Page. For this show, Jimmy Page used a HIWATT head amp that had been modified to be more distorted, and a Marshall cabinet. The result is a high level, harmonious sound with wide dynamic range and headroom. Catalinbread started creating a new circuit to get this unique overdrive sound from a small pedal. Similar to Jimmy Page's setup, I used a Catalinbread overdrive pedal, WIIO, and combined elements from Dirty Little Secret to achieve a clear sound, wide dynamics, and a response that feels like it's connected directly to an amp. .
