Our pistons are cast using high silicon content aluminum. Our "standard" pistons are comparable to other "premium" pistons. The top surface is anodized to improve heat resistance and surface strength, and the sides are coated with graphite to reduce friction between the piston and cylinder, allowing for efficient breaking. SBT's rings are made of chrome-plated ductile iron and come with all new wrist pins and C-clips. Piston and ring sets are available in a variety of sizes to suit your needs.
