Equipped with a magnetic brake designed specifically for bait finesse, it is very compatible with lightweight lures, making it the perfect reel for finesse casting. The shallow groove model MicrocastSpool 17CNQ15R is recommended for mountain stream trout using 4-6 pound filament line or PE line. If you use the original brake, the effectiveness will be weakened, so please add a neodymium magnet φ4 x 1mm (sold separately). The deep groove model MicrocastSpool 17CNQ29R is designed for winding 10 to 12 pound line. It is a deeper spool than the original recommended for Texas rigs of 3.5g to 9g. Please choose the groove depth according to the tackle and line you are using. If you thumb the spool rim, the alumite may peel off due to friction. In particular, perform summing on the winding surface of the spool. When winding the line onto the spool, applying too much tension may cause damage. Especially when winding stretchy lines such as nylon lines, please use a loose tension.
