Scissors originated in Egypt about 3,000 years ago, and were already widespread in Europe during the Roman era in a shape similar to the current one. The office scissors that we often see on a daily basis tend to have symmetrical handles, but these can be easily picked up without worrying about the orientation, and the scissors on the left and right sides are the same shape, making production more efficient. It is a shape that was born with consideration to the following. Originally, ``Scissors'' in the West were asymmetrical, with the handle and blade both functionally shaped, with emphasis placed on ease of grip and sharpness. True to the history of scissors, we thoroughly pursued ease of grip and usability for detailed work, and we arrived at an asymmetrical form for THE SCISSORS. Accuracy and sharpness are increased through the manufacturing method of hammering metal, which is the same as Japanese swords, called ``forging'', and the process of ``kensaku'', which gradually becomes thinner towards the tip of the blade, makes it the most difficult to cut. Also, the blade angle of general scissors is around 55 degrees, but THE SCISSORS has a blade angle of 45 degrees.
