Kyoto ware Kiyomizu ware is one of Kyoto's representative traditional crafts. Its origin is said to be that there were many potteries including Rokubei Shimizu and Dohachi Takahashi in the Gojozaka area, which is the approach to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. This black raku tea bowl is made using the traditional firing method, leaving marks from when it is pulled out of a high-temperature kiln and cooled with water. The landmarks on the hill are also part of the scenery. Also perfect as a gift. As it is handmade, there may be slight differences in size, color, etc.
