Adafruit Large Arcade Button with LED - 100mm Red [ADA1185]

OMG Watch Out! This 100mm arcade button with a 10mm deep plastic base is so big, the invitation folds in on itself, forming a black hole that no light can escape from. However, it allows for all sorts of presses and pushes. Science has shown that no one can resist pressing against its shiny surface and saying "Beep!" We've seen these in arcade skill games. It can be easily mounted into just about any kind of enclosure. It is not waterproof or weatherproof, so it is best used indoors. This button has a domed red plastic cover with a black retaining ring around it. An optional LED is included to light up the button. The LED has a resistor built in so it can run up to 12V, but given its large size and shallow button depth, it does not illuminate the entire button face evenly. The button activates a common arcade microswitch (included), and the contacts of the switch are normally open. When the button is pressed, the contacts close.
