ACCEL 8122 Distributor Cap and Rotor Kit - Tan

Barrier to prevent arc and crossfire from entering. Original Equipment Protects against high temperatures and sparking current surges that can melt the molded parts of the cap. Designed specifically for GM V8s from 1974 to 1989. Made of high performance 60kV rated alkyd compound. Brass inserts and stainless steel rotor spring allow for unlimited spark energy flow.

The Axel Distributor Cap and Rotor Kit provides excellent protection from "arc-through" and cross-fire. Features a 60k V rated alkyd compound to ensure stability by relieving stress during molding. Accel Performance Distributor Cap and Rotor Kit provides high spark energy flow with corrosion-resistant brass inserts and steel rotor springs. High output racing ignition systems place demanding demands on the distributor cap and rotor. High voltage, spark current, and high temperatures all have the ability to turn the molded parts of the mill run of the mill cap and rotor into liquid.
