RAI'S 1/43 scale, die-cast minicar. The Nissan Crew was operated by many police stations from the late 1990s to the 2000s. It was the first Nissan car to be equipped with an elevator and was deployed nationwide at government expense. The vehicle with the elevator raised is modeled on the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Department. It is said that the elevators were installed to prevent police lights from being hidden when police cars had their trunks open during enforcement, and cars behind them not being able to see them as police cars. Traffic police cars are not equipped with it because it increases air resistance. At the time this vehicle was in operation, Kanagawa Prefectural Police vehicles did not yet have the word POLICE on them. As of 2016, Kanagawa Prefectural Police has this design only on traffic police cars. *The elevator is fixed in the UP state and cannot be moved.
