This is a 1/48 scale "Gloster Meteor F.8" plastic model kit from Airfix. The Gloster Meteor was the first Allied jet fighter. F.8 is especially famous and can be said to be synonymous with the series. Until the introduction of the Hawker Hunter, it served as one of the most prominent RAF fighters of the 1950s. 3D scanning has been used to accurately reproduce every detail. The two engines are precisely reproduced, and the engine stand is also reproduced. Two types of decals are reproduced: Royal Air Force Essex 111 Squadron 1954 and Royal Air Force 1968 (currently on display at the Jet Age Museum in the UK) *This product is a plastic model kit that requires assembly and painting. *Adhesive and tools are required separately for assembly and painting.
