This is a 1/80 scale "Nippon Maru" wooden sailing ship model from WoodyJOE. The Nippon Maru was completed in 1984 as a training ship equipped with modern living and educational facilities sufficient to accommodate 190 people (70 crew members and 120 trainees). She is one of the world's largest sailing ships, with a total length of 110 meters, gross tonnage of approximately 2,570 tons, and a sailing speed of 13 knots.
