■Characteristics of Ichichudo Nanbu Iron Kettle Nanbu Ironware, a traditional craft from Iwate Prefecture with a history of 900 years, has a rustic and warm texture, and is characterized by its texture that increases the more it is used. The outer surface of the iron kettle is finished with natural lacquer baking, and the inner surface is rust-prevented using the traditional pottery technique. (This is a traditional technique that prevents rust by forming a film of triiron tetroxide on the surface by baking it over a charcoal fire at approximately 900 degrees.) The boiled water contains plenty of divalent iron, which is easily absorbed by the body. Effective for replenishment. ■Care before and after first use - After lightly rinsing the inside of the iron kettle, fill it with water until the 8th minute mark and boil it for about 15 minutes. (Initially The hot water will become cloudy due to metal qi, so please boil it about 3 times until the water becomes colorless before using it. Please do this. - After use, do not leave any hot water left inside the iron kettle; be sure to transfer it to a pot, empty it, and dry it before storing it away.■ The water has become cloudy due to rust. First, rinse lightly and add water until the 8th minute mark.Wrap about 1 teaspoon of sencha in a cloth, etc., and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes in water, being careful not to boil it dry. This is included in sencha.
