The Tow 03 formation, which began operation in May 2017, is a prototype. In addition to the distinctive front section, the newly installed AU737 cooler, and the pantograph, the roof-mounted equipment and other features that differ from the mass-produced preceding vehicle are accurately reproduced. Accurately reproduces the delicate gradation of the yellow-green line color on the front and door. See-through cab for a more realistic front view. Contains the Saha E235-4600 series, which was converted from the E231 series 500 series. For conversion, the antenna pedestal was added and the cooler was aligned with other E235 series. Head/tail light, front display, luck number display lighting. Adopts white LED. The headlights reproduce the white appearance even when they are turned off. The front and side displays are printed with "0913G" and "Yamanote Line". Replacement front displays ``Shinagawa/Tokyo direction'' and ``Ikebukuro/Ueno direction'' are included. Wheelchair marks, stroller marks, and emergency door cocks are printed on all cars. Power is equipped with a well-established power unit with a flywheel. The coupler uses a body mount close coupler (new type). DCC friendly compatible. Vehicles from the basic set can be stored in the books case from add-on set A.
