This is a 1/75 scale wooden architectural model of "Rurikoji Five-storied Pagoda" from WoodyJOE. It was completed around 1442 during the Muromachi period (built by Morimi Ouchi to mourn his older brother Yoshihiro Ouchi). The pagoda is characterized by its all-Japanese cypress construction, three-way square room, three-sided kumimono structure, two-layered walls, mawari-en on the second floor, and carvings of Ouchi Hishi on each side of the walls. . The architectural style is Japanese, but Zen-style (Tang-style) styles are adopted in some areas, such as the inverted lotus head of the gate rail and the circular Shumidan platform. The Nine Rings of Sorin also has a wind bell, is 31.2m high, and has a roof made of cypress bark.
