Okayama Castle has been scaled down to 1/150, faithfully reproducing the original polygonal shape and complex roof structure. The tower base and the framework of the castle tower are easy to make and can be assembled accurately using a laser-cut plate inset structure. The clapboards are colored with ink to give them a solid appearance. The patterned stone wall mount also allows for smooth stacking of stone wall materials. A beautiful castle tower will be completed. Comes with color assembly instructions and roof pattern. Okayama Castle was built in 1597 by Hideie Ukita, and was later maintained and expanded by the Kobayakawa and Ikeda clans. The castle was built on a slightly elevated piece of land at an altitude of more than 10 meters, and the castle tower is a composite gazebo with three layers and six floors. It has a distorted polygonal planar shape, and there is a theory that it is modeled after Azuchi Castle, which has a polygonal planar tower, and Osaka Castle's main tower, designed by Hideyoshi Hashiba. The exterior is characterized by its black lacquered clapboards, and is also known as ``Crow Castle.'' Most of the palace, turrets, and gates were demolished during the Meiji period, and the castle tower and gates were burnt down in air raids during the previous war. After the war, the castle tower and each gate have been rebuilt. The current castle tower was rebuilt in 1966 and has a five-story structure on the outside and six stories on the inside. *This product is a wooden model that requires assembly. *Adhesive, tools, paint, etc. are required separately for assembly and painting.
