Product introduction The historic EF15 locomotive, the first mass-produced after the war, is back again Requires one D battery (sold separately) The original was the "Plastic Train Rail Set" released in 1959, which was meant to be played by rolling it by hand. Since then, improvements have been made to make it easier to assemble and to eliminate breakdowns, but no fundamental model changes have been made. In the 1960s, a three-car model with a built-in small motor was released, and even today, three-car trains remain the standard. Children as young as three can play alone, and the freedom to play with the model is also appealing, as children can add rail layouts and run them, or even work with their parents to create a large-scale layout to build a city.
