SBS model "1/72 Miles M.5A Sparrowhawk Schlesinger African Air Race 1936" resin kit. The M.5 Sparrowhawk is a single-seat racing aircraft developed from the Miles Hawk two-seat liaison aircraft to participate in the 1935 King's Cup Air Race. The M.5 won the Speed Award for its fastest speed at the King's Cup Air Race, but Sparrowhawk finished 9th overall in the race as other participants were given handicaps. After that, five mass-produced M.5As were built, one of which participated in the 1936 Schlesinger African Air Race between Portsmouth, England and Johannesburg, South Africa. The SBS model full resin kit is a kit created by the manufacturer from the perspective of modelers, with delicate parts that are difficult to reproduce using injection molding, and the number of parts has been kept as compact as possible, with ease of production as the top priority.
