Beaver Corporation "1/144 U.S. Air Force XB-51" 3D printer kit. The XB-51 is a high-speed bomber ordered for prototype production in the United States in 1946. It first flew in 1949, and one of its test pilots was Chuck Yeager, ``the world's first man to exceed the speed of sound.'' Although the aircraft was highly praised for its low-altitude flight performance, two prototypes were rejected in 1952 due to problems with the landing gear and the strength of the aircraft. The aircraft features a three-engine aircraft, which is unusual for a military aircraft, with two jet engines attached to the lower side of the cockpit and one in the tail. The tail engine air intake is located forward of the vertical stabilizer. As for armament, 4000 pounds (1814 kg) of various bombs can be loaded in the rotary bomb tank inside the aircraft, and eight 20mm cannons are mounted on the underside of the nose as fixed armament (only the second prototype is equipped). There were two crew members, and the cockpit was a bubble canopy like that of a fighter jet.The crew was divided into front and rear, with the former in charge of piloting, and the latter in charge of bombing and navigation. The main landing gear is a tandem system with double wheels on the underside of the fuselage at the front and back, and auxiliary landing gear are installed on the main wing side. This aircraft was also the first Martin aircraft to be equipped with ejection seats. The XB-51 is a bomber that the U.S. Air Force ordered Martin Corporation to develop, but it is a phantom aircraft that was rejected after only two prototypes were produced. The parts are precisely molded using a 3D printer, so you don't have to worry about shrinkage. The landing gear and bomb bay are also precisely reproduced, and the open/closed state of the bomb bay can also be selected. You can also choose from two types of bombs to equip. The canopy is reproduced with clear parts, the landing gear is selectable between parked and flight status, and the auxiliary legs on both wings are also reproduced. Instant adhesive is used for assembly, but there are guides on the wings etc. to make assembly easier. *This product is made by a 3D printer. *Anhydrous ethanol is suitable for cleaning parts, but please avoid using it. *Generally, we recommend cleaning with a neutral detergent. Also, cleaning with acetone etc. may corrode the parts. *This product is a 3D printer kit that requires assembly and painting. *Adhesive, tools, paint, etc. are required separately for assembly and painting.
